Beijing, February 15, 2025 -- The much-anticipated 798 Lacquer Artist Residence Space was grandly opened in Beijing's 798 Art District. This artist's residence space, centered on China's thousand-year-old lacquer craftsmanship, takes "lacquer as the soul and artifacts as the medium" and opens up a quiet place carrying oriental philosophical thoughts in the industrial-style 798 Park.
On the day of the event, celebrities from all walks of life, artists, designers and media friends gathered to witness the birth of this new landmark of oriental aesthetics.

Sequence of Things Lacquer Artist Home Space is dedicated to the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese lacquer craftsmanship, and combines it with modern home design concepts to create unique artist home works. The founder of Sequence brand [Mr. Chen Qijie] said in his speech:"The official opening of the Sequence of Great Lacquer Artist Residence Space is not only another historic milestone for our VIS International Art Plate, but also a new starting point for us to inherit and promote Chinese traditional culture, enhance national cultural confidence and promote Chinese brands to the world.."

During the opening ceremony, Mr. Huang Baoxian, a Taiwanese artist and Mr. Zhai Weimin, an assistant professor of Shenzhen University of Technology, who are the cooperative designers under VISION, shared their respective understandings and creative insights on traditional Chinese furniture as well as the art of lacquer.
